Joyce was a single mom of three very young daughters and Les, a single dad of two girls, was nearing the end of his US Air Force flying career when they met at a Reliv event in Dayton, Ohio. They shared a budding interest in improving their families’ nutritional support and each of them had already started on Reliv products, noticed health results and entered the Reliv business.  They married and blended their families just after Les retired and started a new civilian career.  “Returning to my previous work seemed overwhelming with five kids at home,” Joyce says, " The decision to build a Reliv business came easily.  We knew the products would help everyone and that the money would follow from the same hard work that we would put into any venture."  Soon she was devoting every extra minute, around the family's busy schedule to her Reliv business.  "I appreciated being able to build a successful business on my own terms, while raising our five girls."  Soon Les had decisions of his own to make as the Reliv business grew and allowed him to consider coming home and working with Joyce.  "Every day, I sat my at desk and asked myself about purpose and hope and thought about what Joyce and I could do together.  I knew this business was the better path to our future!"
